LQMS Proficiency Testing Company (LQMS PT)
LQMS Proficiency Testing Company (LQMS PT) is an independent, accredited Proficiency Testing (PT) provider based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It is the first private-sector company in the GCC region to achieve accreditation to ISO/IEC 17043:2010, demonstrating its commitment to enhancing testing quality and reliability across various industries.
LQMS PT was established to support accredited laboratories in improving their testing capabilities, fulfilling accreditation requirements, and enhancing confidence among accreditation bodies, regulatory authorities, customers, and other stakeholders through inter-laboratory comparisons.
The Emirates International Accreditation Center (EIAC) granted accreditation to LQMS PT in February 2023, followed by PJLA accreditation in January 2024 for both its UAE and Pakistan branches. Within a year, LQMS PT has grown to become the region’s largest PT provider, with regular participants from across the GCC and several other countries worldwide.

Measures how far a participant’s result deviates from the assigned value (mean or consensus value).
Formula:
Z = (Participant Result – Assigned Value) / Standard Deviation
Interpreted as:
|Z| ≤ 2 → Satisfactory
2 < |Z| < 3 → Questionable
